Hey, I’m Charlotte - wellbeing coach, mum and wife who works because I love my job. I was living the chaotic, distracted life of working a full day, while also managing the emotional and mental load of being a mum - trying to make sure that everyone’s needs were met, while forgetting about my own. I was tired of feeling the ’mom guilt’ of having a job I love knowing that it took emotional energy away from my family. I finally realised that if I was going to enjoy my work and my journey of motherhood, I needed to set boundaries and make choices that would make me feel more in control, healthier and happier so that I could be the coach and the mum I wanted to be. I created a resilience plan that fits ME. A way of being that allows me to ride the waves of life with calm, peace and confidence so that I can focus better, be present and enjoy the moment while also finding some me time in amongst the noise. And I am ready to share it with you! Kelsey is a Physician Assistant turned Christian health coach with a passion to help women become truly set free from the struggle with weight. She is the founder of Kingdom Fit Moms podcast and coaches moms to get out of this struggle.
 
She uses a combination of lifestyle medicine, whole food nutrition, inner healing, and life coaching to help women lose weight for the last time.

This episode is being aired on Human Rights Day here in South Africa and as part of the 3rd annual Podcasthon, I have the privilege of showcasing an organisation doing a huge amount to make the basic human rights we so take advantage of available to a community living in poverty, overcrowding and all that comes with that. 
Pieter Greyling from the Westlake United Churches Trust tells us some incredible success stories and shows how a commando building in the centre of a village can be a tree under which a whole community can find rest and hope.

Mom guilt is something that every working mom has experienced at one point or another.  We feel guilty that we work too hard. Or that we don’t work enough. We feel guilty that we aren’t present or that we aren’t productive enough.
It can be heavy and it can lead to anxiety, overwhelm and burnout.
